Recover Lost Asus Laptop Data
I have an Asus Eee900 Notebook, which is stopping me from logging in to Windows. When I go to type anything in the password box, I just get a constant print out of commas, such as ‘,,,,,,,’ until the box is full, and then I get a constant beeping noise. When it does not do this, it likes to only type out one letter, and then not respond to any other keys. I can’t stop the system from typing out these commas, and nor can I get it to start up again after the one letter has been pressed. I thought at first that the comma key must be the problem, but I have removed it from the keyboard (it is only press-on), and there is nothing underneath it, or in contact with the underside of the key. I have cleaned the whole keyboard using compressed air cans, but this has not helped the situation. I also purchased a new keyboard and same problem.
I have an Asus Eee900 laptop which is refusing to let me connect to a downloads file folder, which contains valuable data. When I click on the downloads folder it simply does not open up. I have checked the properties of the folder and it says size is 0kb. I have run several recovery programs against the hard drive but does not recover the data.
