Fujitsu Hard Drive Data Recovery

FUJITSU LIFEBOOK S6120

I have a Fujitsu LifeBook S6120 which I can’t use and I need the data from it. I am able to power it on, and I can hear the fans turning and the hard drive humming, but the screen remains black. I was actually using it the first time this happened. The laptop was partly opened, and was running. I had headphones on and was listening to music coming from the system. I was not touching the device, but all of a sudden, the screen went blank, and the music shut off. I immediately tried to restart the laptop, but when I rebooted, it gave a few short beeps, and nothing else occurred. I am pretty sure that I can hear the hard drive running when the LED power light is on. However, I don’t know if it is working, or if there is a problem with the system which is beyond just the screen.

I am able to boot up the system, and it will go into the OS as usual. However, just before it goes into the operating system, I get a pair of error messages which are making me worried for the future of the laptop. I don’t want to lose data from the hard drive. The first message says that the ‘BIOS System is Shadowed’, whatever that means, and the second message says ‘Mouse Initialise Error’, but the touchpad at the front works fine and I can get the mouse cursor to work all over the screen.
