Recover Lost Files with Computer Data Recovery
I have a small problem with my Windows 7 desktop. It started after I fitted a brand new printer driver into the desktop. The system crashed and then restarted itself whenever I was at the desktop, sometimes within a matter of seconds. Eventually, it was only loading as far as the first welcome screen, with the manufacturer’s logo. I sought advice, and was told that I should reinstall the operating system, which seems to have been lost. I wanted to back up my hard drive, so that I could recover the data that was on it. However, when I try to do a backup, the system ‘hangs’ or pauses. This can go on for more than 10 or 20 minutes, and eventually I just have to restart the laptop I am trying to put my data onto. I have assumed that it is something to do with the problems that the rest of the desktop has been having, but it means that I can’t get the system to copy any of the data which is on the hard drive before I install the new OS.
WINDOWS 8 OPERATING SYSTEM:
I bought the system with the programs already installed, and this means that they have no recovery or OS disks. I did not think to make one in order to preserve my data, and it worked great for a few weeks, but now I have a problem when I start up the desktop. Firstly, I get a message saying ‘Your PC needs to be repaired’, and there is a pause before a second message, which says ‘OS could not load because a file is missing or has errors’. Then it gives me an error code which is too long for me to copy in the short time that it is on the screen. I then get put into a screen that offers me recovery options. I have gone through the recovery options but nothing works. I need the hard drive cloned onto a new working drive so I can boot up my system with new disk as I use the computer for work and need the system up and running again ASAP.
