Four points to get right before you post it from PE21.

Four disks in one case: label each one by its bayThe vendor that supplied your NAS may have called it a backup. However, it is simply hardware and holds no second copy of anything. So when a bay on the NAS shows amber, cut the power before a rebuild can start. If the disks come out, send them to us with each one labelled by the bay it came from; if they do not, send the whole NAS. Servers and RAID sets follow the same procedure: remove all the disks and label each one with its bay number.
