Is there anywhere in Gainsborough to hand a drive in?
Nowhere, and Nottingham has no public counter either. Everything a job requires (bench, imagers, donor drives) is in one room at our Manchester intake lab, so the thing that moves is the disk. Drop-off is available at that location only, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. No appointment is necessary. Switch it off at the socket immediately and do not rebuild; this stops another disk going the same way as the first. If the disks come out, label each one with its bay; otherwise, please send the entire NAS. Servers and RAID sets are always sent as individual disks, with every disk removed and numbered in bay order first.
